A joint- together celebration with my first- cousin, Abg Adib...

with marhaban, aqiqah for me and abg Adib... some people cut few strands of my hair, some just wet my face with water, some give money... and definitely lotsa kisses I got... many people came... I was sleeping, tho... foods were served, mommy and daddy was tired as heck... same goes to tokwan and nenek...

abg adib took the lead

mommy carried me around...

some makcik was happy to see me...

:: Masuk Jawi ::

I've done my obligation... to cut what I need to cut...
performed on the second day I see the world... Dr. Amin Tan did it...
when I'm big, no more pain (hope not!)

but my tok wan was against it... he planned to have big ceremony for all his grandsons...
he said that's one of our milestone in life...
alaa, adat jek tok wan... but I can still be in the crowd jugak...
I can still get the money... but I don't have to gantung my sarong, or use mini tudung saji ;)

:: the DAY ::

mommy checked-in on 9th apr... tapi tak sakit... dr. induced her that nite with pill... tak berapa jalan. The next day, masuk air pulak... tak berapa jalan lagi... nurse popped her waterbag... (ewww, pls do not imagine)... and wait for dilation... lama laa pulak... she was in the labor room from 10.30am to 9.30pm (I got out at 8.34pm)... at first plan not to take epidural... then, she realized her pain threshold was very low... plus next room occupant was so loud (screaming "Mak sakitnya, mak...") she took it... and it was over in no time... Alhamdulillah... daddy was overjoyed... walaupon baru tgk berbaldi2 darah mommy...

on their way to check-in... I feel the tension already...

mommy anticipating how would things go in the "battlefield"

serabutnya wayar, and they both kept their composure well...

:: during that pregnancy period ::

Early trimester, mommy vomited a lot! really, a lot! and tido... esp during daytime.
malam susah nak tido... why ah?
even my nenek scolded her, saying that it's not good for me in the tummy...
really ah?

2nd trimester, nothing serious...
jalan tetap laju, maintain...

3rd trimester, mommy got gestational diabetis... (kesian dia lagi...)
took meds, no more sugary stuff etc...
and feet swollen... mcm untut, she would say...
and foot- cramped every nite... kejut daddy suruh urut...
daddy dgn ngantuk2nya served his duty greatly...

but overall mommy said she enjoyed her pregnancy period... (orait lah, mommy!)
loved the attention... (but during her lrt rides, banyak kali gak tak dapat tpt duduk... cheh!)
loved the clothes, and mostly... loved the way daddy would fulfilled what she was craving, be it midnite... (hmmm, I'm grateful too, daddy... coz that was for me, too)...

She even did jungle- tracking... oh mommy!
